Regional Healthcare Technologies Forum

Bridging the “healthcare needs gap” between urban, rural and remote settings. A panel of professionals share their knowledge and experiences. They will address issues such as access to resources and services, and inventive use of technology.


The Forum will be held in the Deakin University’s Costa Hall and commences with the conference opening ceremony.


Mr Peter Kronborg will deliver the opening plenary address. Mr Kronborg is Chairman of the Royal Flying Doctor Service in Victoria and Vice President of the Australia Council RFDS.


The Forum will continue with short presentations:
State Government directions for regional healthcare.


Communications technology and what it can deliver.
Linking radiology electronically across the expanse.
The rural consumer's needs.


An open panel discussion will close the Forum
