The Nuclear Medicine Accreditation Panel is responsible for Nuclear Medicine accreditation.

There are currently two pathways to accreditation:

1. Accreditation of Experienced Nuclear Medicine Physicists or
   

2. TEAP in Nuclear Medicine Physics

The latter option is a program commenced in 2004 and is the only means of attaining accreditation for people first commencing work as a Nuclear Medical Physicist (ROMP) from January1, 2006.
