The ACPSEM Register of Qualified Medical Physics Specialists (the Register) is designed to register Medical Physics Specialists who have attained sufficient training and education in a Medical Physics Specialty for them to be regarded as an expert professional in their field.

The Register is a publically available document. It is intended to be used to ensure that the services of Medical Physics Specialists provided to the public are delivered by professionals who have attained a high standard of practice recognised at a national and international level. The Register is intended to guard against unsafe, incompetent and unethical practice in Medical Physics.

Although administration of the Register will be under the management of the ACPSEM the Register shall be open to members and non-members of the ACSPEM.

The Register shall be managed in such a way as to maintain confidentiality of the information provided to the Register which is not made publically available as part of the function of the Register.
