You're invited to an upcoming ACPSEM VIC/TAS Branch Talk titled “Challenges in Radiation Protection in Medical Imaging”, presented by Dr. Madan Rehani. The event will take place on Thursday, 25 September 2025, from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre in Melbourne. Attendees will earn CPD points for their participation. For those unable to join in person, a Zoom registration option is available to attend remotely. This session promises to be an engaging and informative discussion led by a renowned expert in the field. Following the talk, a social dinner will be held at a nearby venue, providing an excellent opportunity for professional networking and further discussion.
Professor Madan Rehani is a Professor of Radiology at Harvard Medical School, Director of the Radiation Protection Outreach Program at Massachusetts General Hospital, and current President of IUPESM (2022–2025). He has served in leadership roles with the IOMP, IAEA, and ICRP. He is Senior Editor of the British Journal of Radiology, Associate Editor of the European Journal of Medical Physics, and has published extensively with more than 200 papers, 40 book chapters, and five edited books.
