CPD Event Endorsement

Providing ACPSEM members with every opportunity to take part in courses, activities and events of professional significance is critical to a CPD program that meets members' ongoing learning and career needs.

If you, your workplace or organisation are running an event, course or activity that you feel would be of value to the professional development of our members, you can apply for ACPSEM CPD endorsement. ACPSEM will assign CPD points (awardable upon completion) to encourage participation by College members, and promote your event to our membership via our Upcoming Events Area, FOCUS Newsletter and email.

  • More CPD points awarded than non-endorsed courses.
ONE-OFF ENDORSEMENT OR RECURRING ENDORSEMENT
We offer two different types of endorsement
  • One-off

For events or activities that are delivered just once in a 12 month period. This type of endorsement is suitable for activities like conferences, workshops, guest lectures or symposiums.

  • 12-month 

For a recurring CPD Event or Activity to be delivered multiple times within a 12-month period.The format, theme, speaker/s and assessment must remain consistent. This is suitable for national touring workshops, lecture or webinar series, or formal education courses with multiple intakes.

APPLY

You can apply for endorsement on our website here. You must complete and submit this Application Form with your application. You may choose to pay upfront, or be invoiced for payment later. 

The ACPSEM CPD coordinator assesses applications on their content, presenters,location, target audience and relevancy to any of the CPD Framework's Three (3) Categories:
  1. Undertaking Educational Activities
  2. Reviewing Performance
  3. Measuring Outcomes

Applicants will be notified of the outcome of their application for CPD endorsement within two weeks of submission. 

If your application is approved, you will be emailed a letter of approval and the "ACPSEM CPD-approved" logo for you to use in advertising your event. 

ENDORSEMENT FEES

A set of endorsement fees are listed in the table below. The fee covers the cost of assessment, administration and advertising associated with the endorsement.

In certain cases, the College may choose to waive the endorsement fee. Such cases include volunteer-run events. If you wish to apply for such an exemption, please email your request in writing to cpd@acpsem.org.au
