MIRSIG Online Self-Paced Practical Image Registration Workshop

In February 2021, The Medical Image Registration Special Interest Group (MIRSIG), in collaboration with the Trans-Tasman Radiation Oncology Group (TROG), held its Practical Image Registration Workshop. Due to the limitations of the COVID-19 Pandemic, the workshop was redeveloped as an activity-based webinar, the recording of which has now been made available as an online module for Radiation Oncologists, Radiation Therapists and Medical Physicists interested in improving their image registration skills.

The main focus of the one-day workshop was on accounting for previous treatment and best available solutions for efficient and high quality replans. It included a refresher on some of the principles of medical image registration as well as informal break-out sessions covering the roles and responsibilities of each of the disciplines involved with the practice of medical image registration.
