Get Involved

As a member of ACPSEM, you can make a valuable contribution to the College and your profession.

The work and output of ACPSEM would not be possible without the contribution and passion of members. In the 2021 - 2022 Financial year alone, 292 of our 875 members volunteered across 527 roles with the College. 

There are many ways for our members to get involved with the College. Opportunities are available for members at all stages of their career.

• Nominate for a College Board or Committee appointment
• Serve as a Branch Office Bearer
• Work as a TEAP examiner or assessor 
• Join a specialised expert Working Group or Task Group
• Subscribe to a Specialty Group or Special Interest Group - or nominate for their Executive Committee
• Get involved in your local Branch
• Contribute to our FOCUS Newsletter
• Share your work on Social Media and tag us
• Attend or organise events, including our Annual Engineering in Physical Sciences Conference or regular Specialty Webinars
• Contribute to the Physical Engineering Sciences in Medicine Journal (PESM)

Please note, certain roles may require Ordinary Membership or Fellowship to be eligible. A number of our governance committees are, however, structured to include members in the early stages of their career. For more information about any of the opportunities listed, contact us.
