The ACPSEM Register

With the support of Australian Commonwealth funding, ACPSEM maintains The ACPSEM Register of Qualified Medical Physics Specialists and Radiopharmaceutical Scientists (The Register).

The Register is an official record of specialists in Medical Physics and Radiopharmaceutical Science who have demonstrated, and are demonstrating, current competency to practice safely and in accordance with the professional standards of their specialty to deliver best possible outcomes for patients.

About this Database

In addition to the details of registered Qualified Medical Physicists and Radiopharmaceutical Scientists, this database also provides details of individuals who have achieved ACPSEM Certification and/or an ACPSEM-recognised practical qualification.

  • The ACPSEM Register column indicates whether a listed individual is ACPSEM Registered as a Medical Physicist Specialist or Radiopharmaceutical Scientist, and which category/categories they are Registered in. Categories on the ACPSEM Register are: Radiation Oncology, Radiology, Nuclear Medicine, Radiopharmaceutical Science, and Bespoke

  • The Type of Certification column indicates whether a listed individual has completed a formal ACPSEM Certification program (ACPSEM TEAP or AREQCA) and which category this was completed in. Individuals who have been admitted on the ACPSEM Register through assessment of competence as an experienced candidate without undertaking an ACPSEM certification program, will not have an entry in this column.

  • The Practical Qualification column indicates whether a listed individual has completed any other ACPSEM recognised Certification program. Completion of a Practical Qualification alone does not imply they are ACPSEM Registered as a Medical Physicist Specialist or Radiopharmaceutical Scientist.
