Clinical Governance: Module 1

The Australasian College of Physical Scientists and Engineers in Medicine (ACPSEM) is pleased to release its Clinical Governance for Medical Physicists course, consisting of 3 modules. Each module is available to both ACPSEM members and non-members of the College.

By the end of Module 1 participants will:

• Understand the core components of Australian the clinical governance framework developed by the Australian Commission on Quality and Safety in Health
• Have reflected on the behaviours and actions expected of medical physicists to help their workplaces meet those standards
• Note the various standards that may be relevant to your medical physics role
• Have sufficient insight to make a decision regarding whether to proceed to Module 2 (Applications of Clinical Governance) and Module 3 (Leadership in Clinical Governance).
