About The purpose of the HTA EOI is to form a merit pool of suitably qualified candidates across a range of specialities from which the department may nominate for future vacant committee positions in accordance with the skills/expertise requirements of the particular HTA committee. The HTA EOI is a broad advertisement that seeks expressions of interest from individuals for future vacancies on PBAC and subcommittees, MSAC and subcommittees, MDHTAC (specific roles), ECAGs; Consumer and industry roles on any committee. How to Apply Candidates are requested to submit an Expression of Interest (700 words) and the online application for consideration for inclusion on the 2026 merit pool. Appointments to HTA committees are a decision for Government. This EOI process will replace the current merit pool that the department uses to fill vacancies. Expressions of Interest must be received by no later than 11.30 pm (AEDT) on Monday 15 December 2025. This is available on the departments website at Department of Health - Health Technology Assessment Advisory Committee Vacancies 2025. Further information on this is provided in the applicant pack or contact: HTA.EOI@health.gov.au |

You, our members, are the College. The commitment, effort and expertise of volunteers matters both to the running of the College and to the profile and reputation of our professions. There are positions for those with extensive experience and those with none.
Participation is a valuable opportunity for professional development. Whether you seek governance and leadership experience, opportunities to publish, or even just a wider professional network, there is a role for you.
ACPSEM values the commitment of those who want a meaningful new experience for a limited time, alongside those that may see leadership of their profession/s and driving the future of professional standards and best practice as a long-term commitment. Participation can also prepare you to make an impact in other roles and spaces beyond the College.
