About the role
Working as a Radiation Oncology Medical Physicist in a busy hospital offers a rewarding opportunity to contribute to advanced cancer treatments while enjoying a schedule that promotes work-life balance. This role is a part-time, fixed term role until June 2027 with base hours of 25 per fortnight.

About you
The successful candidate will actively contribute to maintaining a high-performing, collaborative, and supportive team culture. They will be an initiative-taking and positive communicator, consistently sharing relevant information and providing strong support to leadership.
You’ll further have:
- Recognised as a Qualified Medical Physics Specialist (Radiation Oncology) by the ACPSEM
- Holder of a higher degree in Medical Physics with significant recent clinical experience across the equipment and technology in use at Austin Health
- Licensed under the Medical Physicist pathway with the DH Victoria for the purpose of radiation oncology
- Comprehensive knowledge and experience in Radiation Oncology Medical Physics services and new technology aligned with the purpose and accountabilities of the position
