At GenesisCare Western Australia we have a new opportunity for a full-time Medical Physics Specialist to join our team at one of our Perth metro locations.
As a Medical Physics Specialist you will be responsible for the provision of clinical physics and QA services that ensure a safe and effective radiotherapy service for our patients. You’ll work alongside a multidisciplinary team of Radiation Oncologists, Radiation Therapists and fellow Medical Physicists, contributing to advanced treatment planning, quality assurance, equipment commissioning, and clinical innovation that directly supports exceptional patient outcomes.

What you’ll do:
- Deliver specialist clinical physics services that support safe, accurate and effective radiotherapy treatment.
- Perform quality assurance, dosimetry and calibration activities in accordance with national and international standards.
- Commission, validate and maintain radiotherapy equipment and treatment planning systems.
- Provide expert scientific and technical advice on radiotherapy treatment delivery and planning techniques, including advanced modalities such as SRS/SABR, SGRT, and adaptive radiotherapy.
- Support the implementation, testing, and optimisation of new technologies, software upgrades, and clinical processes.
- Contribute to research, development, and continuous improvement initiatives across the physics service.
- Work collaboratively with Radiation Oncologists, Radiation Therapists, and the broader multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain compliance with all safety, quality, accreditation, and regulatory requirements.

- Are Certified in Radiation Oncology Medical Physics (ACPSEM, IPEM, HCPC, ABR, ABMP, CCPM, IMPCB). ACPSEM TEAP Registrars who are approaching their prac/oral exams are welcome to apply.
