About the Role
Deliver specialised medical physics clinical services and provide professional leadership within the Medical Physics Department and the regional cancer centre. You will manage one or more specialist programs in radiation oncology medical physics, guiding excellence in practice and patient outcomes.

Status: Permanent Full-time

 Remuneration Package up to $227,581 p.a. (HP5) including:

  •  Base salary: $144,991–$151,289
  • MPARI payment: $73,118–$76,292 (ACPSEM accredited)

Job Requirement


Role Requirements

  • Accredited by ACPSEM as a Medical Physics Specialist in Radiation Oncology
  • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in physics or physical science with a major in physics
  • Hold an MSc or PhD in radiation oncology medical physics
  • Demonstrated advanced competency within an Australian or equivalent healthcare environment
  • Eligible for a Queensland Health Radiation Use Licence within one year of starting
