REGISTER | Rescheduled Membership Category Focus Groups - Open to ALL members

As many of your may already be aware, we had to postpone our New Zealand & QLD Member Focus Groups as many participants faced scheduling conflicts and last-minute work commitments on the day.

Rescheduled Groups Open to All Members - Regardless of Geography

These rescheduled groups will now take place on Tuesday 30th May and Wednesday 31st May.

Based on the flow of discussion in our original Focus Groups, we are restructuring the participant makeup for these reaming groups. Participants are asked to register according to their career stage, not their location. Consequently ALL members are invited to register. Preference will of course be given to NZ and QLD members to ensure their voices are represented, but we want to take this opportunity to invite those who missed out to join us too.

Please note the relevant Focus Group Date and start times below:

Early to Mid Career Members Focus Group: 30th May | 12pm - 2pm AEST

Register Here

Mid to Senior Career Members Focus Group: 31st May | 12pm - 2pm AEST

Register Here

If you cannot attend the most appropriate group, but can attend the other, you are still invited to register. Participation will not be restricted by your degree of experience and we want to hear from as many members as possible.

Why is ACPSEM conducting these Focus Groups?

Our 2022 Membership Category Review Survey, run by Mayven Global, has given us a picture of the College's membership, the relationship of members with the College, and members' views on benefits associated with membership.

While some recommendations from that work are with the Board and will inform a series of governance initiatives later in 2023, we are now building upon other recommendations and insights from the survey by turning attention to how members understand and interact with ACPSEM as a professional association. We want to know what the College means to them, and how their perception and understanding of the College as a professional association has and/or will evolve throughout the course of their professional lives.

Insights gained from these Focus Discussions will inform how the College allocates and develops resources into the future to ensure it can continue to best support our Members and the Profession.

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the college via membership@acpsem.org.au.
