About the facility
The Andrew Love Cancer Centre (ALCC) is a comprehensive cancer centre that has provided expert care to those affected by cancer in Geelong and the southwest region of Victoria in a supportive and caring environment since 1992.
ALCC Radiotherapy offers state-of-the-art treatments using Varian Truebeam linear accelerators, Eclipse treatment planning system, and Aria record and verify system. Services delivered by the department includes:
- Stereotactic treatments
- IMRT and VMAT
- 4DCT and gated treatments
- IGRT – planar kV, CBCT, and EPI
- Knowledge based planning
- Flattening Filter Free Beams
- Superficial treatments
About the role
You will join a team of highly skilled ROMPs within ALCC as a Senior Radiation Oncology Medical Physicist on a permanent full-time basis (part-time will be considered for the right candidate). Consistent with the grade, this role will require you to lead work program(s), makes original contributions, and take on other duties as stipulated in the position description and at the discretion of the Chief Medical Physicist.

- Australasian College of Physical Scientists and Engineers in Medicine (ACPSEM) Certification in Radiation Oncology Medical Physics
- Postgraduate degree in Physics
- Recent experience in leading a component of the work program and commissioning projects in a timely manner
