Description:
This course addresses practical aspects of the use of MR imaging in Radiation Oncology.
It is aimed at a range of Radiation Oncology professionals (Medical Physicists, Radiation Therapists, Diagnostic Radiographers, Radiation Oncologists) who are:
- Interested in using more MRI in their practice;
- Looking to use a diagnostic MR scanner for simulation, and/or;
- Planning to get an MR simulator.
Local faculty will convey the comprehensive clinical experience with MRI in Radiation Therapy at Calvary Mater Newcastle. Invited external speakers will share their experiences.
The course will be held on the City Campus of the University of Newcastle in the Q Building, Newcastle's only architecturally designed 6-Star Green Star rated building. Find information about location, access and parking here.
