29 July - Call for Student

Come along and support the up-and-coming Medical Physicists at

ACPSEM VicTas Branch Student Presentations and Prize Afternoon

Thursday 29 July 2021

2pm - 4pm AEST via Zoom

 

Winner and runner will be receive travel grants for EPSM2021 and be accepted into the EPSM program

1st prize $1000 provided by Elekta

2nd prize $500 provided by the VicTas Branch

 

Call for Students:

Undergraduate and postgraduate students enrolled in a Victorian or Tasmanian
tertiary institution are invited to present their research at the Student
Presentation and Prize Afternoon.


Abstract and assessment:
Please email a short abstract to Clem Conheady, VicTas Chair
via victasbranchchair@acpsem.org.au by Friday 16 July

A maximum of eight presentations will be
selected, based on review of the submitted abstracts.
Authors of accepted abstracts for oral presentations will be given 15 minutes to
present including 12 minutes for the actual presentation and 3 minutes for questions.

Winners will be chosen based on the following criteria:
1. Understanding of Topic
2. Scientific or Technical Content
3. Presentation Skill
4. Presentation Structure
5. Response to Questions
